Walleye Fish Fry
Walleye Fish Fry Recipe:
This delicious walleye fish fry recipe using Black Pearl’s “Dill Salt & Vinegar” and “Lemon Garlic Pepper BBQ Spice Rub” will deliver bold flavors you will want to savor over and over again.
Ingredients:
- Fish (in this case, walleye, but this also works amazing for cod and catfish)
- 2 cups of flour
- 3 eggs
- 1 Box of “shore lunch beer batter”
- Vegetable oil
- Black Pearl - Ultimate Spice Rubs “Dill Salt & Vinegar” and “Lemon Garlic Pepper BBQ Spice Rub”
Preparation:
1. Cut your fish into thinly cut filets. Begin heating your oil to 350 degrees in a frying pan.
2. In a mixing bowl, mix your flour with your Black Pearl Ultimate Spice Rubs.
3. Toss your fish into the bowl of flour and spices and generously coat (this step is essential and is the secret trick to have the eggs stick to the fish in the next step)
4. Scramble the three eggs in a separate bowl. Take your floured fish and toss it into the egg scramble, covering the fish thoroughly.
5. Pour your Shore Lunch Beer Bater mix into a separate bowl. Toss the fish in the batter and cover it completely.
6. Cook battered fish until it’s reached its desired golden brown color!
7. ENJOY!
Once your fish is done, you can go the extra mile and top it with some lemon juice or some dry lemon pepper seasoning of your choice (both completely optional)
That mouth-watering salt & vinegar favorite married with dill to take it to the next level. Talk about a burst of flavor, use this on your chicken wings, French fries, tater tots or rim your bloody Mary glasses! Wonderful to season your fish, especially Walley. Mix the seasoning with panko crumbs and crust your fish. Make your own Dill Salt & Vinegar chips, you never get enough on the store bought chips.
